Product Source: Baculovirus infected High-5 cells

Legal Information

CHEMICON is a registered trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany

Physical form

Lyophilized from Sodium Citrate, pH 3.5.

Storage and Stability

The lyophilized powder is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with water to a concentration of 50 µg/ml (e.g., 5 µg/100 µl), this will yield a solution of 1 mM citrate buffer pH 3.5 This solution can then be stored at room temperature or at 2-8°C for 1 month. It is recommended that further dilutions be made into PBS containing 2 mg/ml albumin and stored at -20°C. Reconstituted human TGF-beta2 should be stored in undiluted aliquots at -20°C for at least 2 months. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
